The Goa police investigation may depend on a note "written by Suchana Seth" on a crumpled piece of tissue paper.

After being married in 2010 and having a kid in 2019, Seth and her estranged spouse Venkatraman PR experienced a breakdown in their marriage. Separated, the two were involved in custody battles and divorce processes.

Three days after Suchana Seth, the CEO of a software start-up with headquarters in Bengaluru, was detained on suspicion of murdering her four-year-old son at a Goa hotel, detectives said that they had found a handwritten "note" on a piece of tissue paper that was reportedly written by Seth.

The "cryptic" message, according to police sources, hinted that Seth (39), did not want her husband to get custody of her kid.

After being married in 2010 and having a kid in 2019, Seth and her estranged spouse Venkatraman PR experienced a breakdown in their marriage. Separated, the two were involved in custody battles and divorce processes.

The alleged message was allegedly written in English by police using an eyeliner pen on a piece of tissue paper. A police officer participating in the inquiry stated, "The note is a crucial piece of evidence and it could help ascertain her state of mind and motivations."

According to police sources, the tissue paper was crumpled and pieces had been attempted torn off.

It featured at least five handwritten lines that alluded to the custody dispute. A forensic squad at the Karnataka police station in Aimangala found the message while conducting an examination. Her handwriting sample has been obtained and forwarded for forensic analysis. A police official stated, "We can't disclose the note's precise contents at this time since doing so will interfere with the investigation.

Police had previously disclosed to The Indian Express that she could have committed the murder as a result of her tense relationship with her divorced spouse and a custody dispute.

According to police, Seth is still denying that she killed her son, saying she had no idea who had done it. In addition to attaching crucial items of evidence, such as a pillow, her bag, and a bloodstained towel and silverware from the Goan service apartment where she was living, police have so far recorded testimony from fifteen witnesses.

Seth was apprehended in the Chitradurga region of Karnataka while purportedly attempting to escape in a taxi, concealing her son's body under a bag.

Additionally, police are receiving new information about her visit, including the precise moment she is said to have killed the youngster. She checked out on the evening of January 7, even though she had reserved the accommodation for January 6–10.
